Came to visit Bryce Canyon for a day and stayed at the best western in town and this restaurant/buffet was our go to for convenience. The price was a little high for the offerings they had for dinner buffet but just a note and not something to complain about. A perk is some of us opted for the soup and salad buffet for a lighter dinner and the rest got the regular buffet and they were fine with that. Customer service was average- during dinner buffet there was at least 5 staff sitting in the front area just chatting while our server consistently checked on us (she told us it was low staffed that night which made us puzzled seeing other staff in the front but maybe it's my mistake and they work for a different department) breakfast staff was more busier but didn't make us feel welcomed. Breakfast buffet was comped for hotel guests so we had it again the next day and they had enough to keep people full. From a pot of heated oatmeal, different cereals, boiled eggs to biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese and fruit- there was a variety for everyone and it was a perk for it to be free. It was nice to have a drink included with free refills. You can choose from hot chocolate, coffee, orange juice, apple juice and tomato juice. Overall the ambience was comfy like stopping by a diner in the middle of a small town. Enough for what it offered. It was off season too so not a lot of people but they said in the summer it sure gets crowded.

Food was pretty decent, however we had a lot of issues during our diner. We were looking for a comment card to leave a comment and Paula came over and was so sweet & actually heard us out and acknowledged our concerns. It turned out whole experience around. She's excellent with customer service. I hope she ends up in management because she really has a knack for problem solving and just listening!! I'm sure the hiccups we experienced will be addressed and others won't have the same issues we encountered so over all good experience because of Paula kindness.

I really wanna give this spot 5 stars. The staff gets like 10 stars. Everyone was busting their backsides off and super kind I had four meals here while in Utah and the thing is - it's a buffet. It's also one of like two spots open in early April. The fact breakfast was free with our room is awesome I love that they will give you a to-go coffee Lotta good options for both breakfast and dinner The reason they lost a star was the pink chicken. It happens but it happened two nights in a row so.... Anyways this place is great for middle of no where Utah and I find myself month after the visit missing it

A friend and I had the buffet breakfast and dinner at the Best Western Ruby's Inn. Breakfast vouchers are included if you are staying at the hotel. Bryce Canyon City seems to exist solely to serve those visiting the canyon. There are not many dining options in town. One is branded as western fast food, another has a country music show and requires reservations, and the last is the Cowboy Buffet located off the lobby of the Best Western the subject of this review. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at both breakfast and dinner. At breakfast, pancakes, bacon, crispy home fries, scrambled eggs, fruit, juices, etc. are available. Gratuity is not included with the voucher. At dinner, there are several options that include a la carte meals delivered by a waitperson or 2 buffet options: soup and salad for a very reasonable $14 or the full buffet for $26. I had the soup and salad, and my friend had the full buffet. The buffets are organized by hot and cold items, and there is more than one area for each. Items in each area may differ, so be sure to check all areas out if you choose the buffet. The soup and salad option included pieces of chicken breast or ham, as well as a good assortment of veggies, dressings, and salad toppers. The full buffet included the salad and soup bar, plus various BBQ options, baked chicken, and salmon, potatoes, and hot vegetables as well as a dessert bar. Service was very good at both breakfast and dinner. Everyone seemed friendly. This is an extremely large restaurant, and tables are fairly closely spaced. Booths are a good option. We would return to this restaurant if in the area again.
